All the rain is causing some major problems for areas in Onslow County.
According to the D.O.T., high water has closed off several roads in Swansboro this morning.
They include Shell Rock Landing Road, Queens Haven Road, Pond Drive, Kingsbridge Road, and Belgrade Swansboro Road.
In addition, the rain has also caused a leak in the water main off Shell Rock Landing Road.
ONWASA officials say Bear Creek and surrounding areas may experience low or no water pressure today.
Crews are working to repair the leak.
Service may be interuppted until 2 this afternoon.

Storm Team 9 Meteorologist Gannon Medwick adds: While the vast majority of eastern North Carolina has received a manageable 0.25” - 1.25” of rain since Wednesday afternoon, portions of southeastern Onslow, southwestern Carteret, and extreme southern Jones Counties have experienced 2 - 5” of rain in that time. Remarkably, these areas were hardest-hit from last week’s Nor’easter. Be cautious when traveling in the Hubert, Swansboro, Cedar Point, and Cape Carteret areas Thursday morning as localized standing water and / or poor drainage flooding issues may persist. Roads impacted include - but may not be limited to - Shell Rock Landing Road (partially washed out as noted above), Carteret County's West Firetower Road, and Carteret County's Cedar Point Boulevard.
