Police officers in Spokane, Washington are looking for assistance from the community to help identify a woman who is seen throwing a child down to the pavement in front of the transit center.

At 7:30 Wednesday morning (11/18) surveillance video caught images of a woman forcibly pulling at her child and then kicking him to the ground.

Witnesses described her as a light-skinned African American or Native American woman wearing a brown coat with a fur collar, blue jeans, white shirt, black beanie with a long chain and a black pendant around her neck. Her child was approximately two-years-old and was wearing a blue, winter jumpsuit and a blue beanie.

She was seen pushing a stroller, possibly with another child in it. The stroller was navy blue in color and was covered with a white blanket.

Police have probable cause to arrest the woman for assaulting her child and are looking for help from the community to identify her.
