Springfield, MO (AP) - Authorities say eight other homes were damaged, but fortunately, no one was hurt. Local media report the owners of the destroyed home were out at a restaurant when the blast occurred. Residents talk about what they heard.

"When I first got there, I saw there was only two bedrooms and the garage. And I went right straight through the bedrooms and the garage and came back runningout looking for people under there and that's when the cops came and they said, 'Everybody get back.'"
"Walked in the house and my windows were all blown out of the house and I couldn't figure out what was going on. And then, I went inside the house and stuff's all knocked off the shelves. I thought somebody broke in or something."
