The Wayne County Sheriff's Office tells Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a Goldsboro woman for forgery.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office tells Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a Goldsboro woman for forgery.

It happened on November 20th.

Authorities say 37 year old Melissa Shannon Garcia stole checks from an overseas airman and then forged checks against his account. She's charged with two counts each of Forgery and Uttering an Instrument and two counts of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses.

Her bond is set at $10,000.00 secured.
