The governor of South Carolina finds himself in more hot water.
Governor Mark Sanford is now facing civil charges brought on by the state.
The state ethics commission released the charges against Governor Sanford on Monday.
There were 37 charges in all.
Among those are accusations that Governor Sanford took state plane for personal and political trips and reimbursed himself using campaign money.
The charges carry with them a maximum fine of 74-thousand dollars.
On Tuesday republican lawmakers in South Carolina will debate a measure that could remove the governor from office.
