"Treasure Hunter's Roadshow" in Town

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Do you ever wonder if that old painting you have stored in the attic is worth anything? Maybe some jewelry or baseball cards? People in New Bern have the chance to find out if they have something special in their possession. It's part of the Treasure Hunter’s Roadshow. People can bring their rare and unusual collectibles to see how much they're worth. The treasure hunters will even pay for some of them. They say it's a way the community can connect with collectors from around the world.

"The items don't always hang around the area they originated from so you see all kinds of different things, come to one town expecting to see one thing and you come up with stuff so obscure that you have no clue," Jesse Price, Show Manager, said.

You can still bring your collections to the Springhill Suites on Hotel Drive tomorrow from 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm.
