Some gays and lesbians are trying to keep pressure on President Obama to allow homosexuals to serve openly in the military.

Tens of thousands marched in Washington yesterday and demanded an end to the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

President Obama has promised to end the ban, but admits that progress has been slow.
