Greenville Police tell Nine On Your Side that they're investigating a shooting at Norcott Circle in Greenville.
It happened in the early morning hours Friday.
Authorities say an unknown assailant fired several shots into a residence. One person inside was struck in the leg causing non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Authorities say there is no description available of the suspect.
