A Jacksonville mother is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter today in the death of her three month old daughter.
Apex Police say 23 year old Nicole Lynnette Richards was visiting a friend for several hours in Apex on Sunday when the 911 call came in from the residence that the child was in respiratory distress. The child was taken to Wake Medical Trauma Center in Raleigh where she was pronounced dead.
After executing a search warrant at the residence and interviewing several witnesses, Richards was arrested an transported to the Wake County Jail. She's under a $250,000 bond.
