The Hyde County Sheriff's Office tells Nine On Your Side that they're investigating a shooting in Engelhard.
It happened Saturday on Cooper Lane.
Authorities say they found two male victims, one a juvenile under age 10, shot by a 9mm pistol. Both victims were taken to Pungo District Hospital for treatment with one later transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital for further care. Both are expected to make a full recovery.
47 year old Mack McCoy Mann is charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
He's being held under a $500,000 secured bond.
Investigation into the incident is still underway.
