Greenville Police tell Nine On Your Side that they're investigating a shooting that left a man injured in the front yard of his home.
It happened Tuesday evening around 10:30 PM on Arthur Street.
Authorities believe the incident happened about thirty minutes before it was reported.
They say 53 year old Lee Perkins suffered non-life threatning injuries from a bullet wound. Perkins says hie was in his front yard when he hear the sound of gunshots and was struck in the arm.
Perkins was later transported to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
