The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve obtained a written confession and recovered the weapon used in the stabbing this morning in Onslow County.
Christopher Moody was stabbed in the neck around 3:30 this morning on Morning Side Drive. The victim's injuries were said to not be life threatening and he was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities say the incident escalated from a verbal argument to a physical assault near Jackie Lee Danbury’s residence.
He's the suspect Onslow County authorities have taken into custody on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and for carrying a concealed weapon.
His bond is $110,000 secured.
