NC Murder Arrest  Made in SC

Wayne County murder suspect located and arrested in South Carolina

Inv. K. Powers of the Goldsboro Police Department with the assistance of Det. Michael Dawson of the Wayne County Sheriffs Office, has arrested James Sanders. James Sanders was located and arrested in Bennettsville South Carolina and transported to Goldsboro on 10-22-09 where he was served with a warrant for the murder of Eric Lamont Best. The warrant was issued on 9-30-08 following a homicide investigation conducted by the Goldsboro Police Department. The incident occurred on Franklin St on 9-24-08. Sanders was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center with no bond.
