Washington Police tell Nine On Your Side that they're investigating a shooting that left a 25 year old with gunshot wound to the back.
It happened Tuesday evening near 4th and Haven Street.
Authorities say, the initial investigation into the incident indicates that it's the result of a domestic disturbance involving 3 people. They say officers found Shawn Michael Foskey of Daniles Court with a gunshot wound to the back and believe he may have been hit by a vehicle. Foskey was transported to Beaufort County Hospital for treatment and later transferred to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
24 year old Peggy Ann Thompson is charged with Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and Felony Assault on a child under 12 years of age. 19 year old Bradley Coward is wanted for two counts of Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
Anyone with knowledge of the location of Bradley Coward is requested to contact their local law enforcement agency.
