It's a new place to worship and it is for people of all faiths.
Pitt County Memorial Hospital broke ground on its new Interfaith Chapel today.
Hospital and community leaders gathered to celebrate the start of the project.
The chapel will seat 75 to 100 people and will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
It will be at the front of the hospital.
The hospital wanted to build the Interfaith Chapel because they serve so many with different spiritual backgrounds.
They will pay for the 2.3 million dollar project with private donations to the hospital foundation.
