For two years John Manley of Wilmington visited countless doctors. He suffered from fatigue and pneumonia and he had difficulty breathing.
Finally, one doctor was able to diagnose him.
The culprit was a plastic spoon from Wendy's that was lodged in his lung. Manley says he tends to eat in a rush. He says he must have accidentally inhaled the spoon as he was eating.
Doctors removed the spoon segment from his lung last week.
Manley says he tried to hug and kiss the doctor who removed the spoon because he could finally breathe well for the first time in two years.
