ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - Authorities need your help today to identify the suspect in an afternoon bank robbery.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - Authorities need your help today to identify the suspect in an afternoon bank robbery.

It happened at the BB&T on Benvenue Road in Rocky Mount Wednesday.

Rocky Mount Police say a male suspect approached the counter and demanded money at gunpoint. He's described as a black male wearing a black coat, blue jeans, white shirt, and black hat with "DC" on on the front.

If you can identify this suspect, contact RMPD immediately at 972-1411 or Crime Stoppers at 977-1111.
