RALEIGH, N.C. - Governor Perdue signed some new laws for members of the military in our state.
One made it easier to vote absentee, one made minor changes to National Guard courts-martial codes, one prohibits foreclosure for Marines who are on active duty, and another allows members of the military 18 and older to decide how their remains will be disposed of if they are killed.
It also adopts the new Honor and Remember flag which recognized anyone killed in combat.
