WILSON, N.C. - The N.C. Attorney General’s Office has released the names of those involved in a deadly shootout in Wilson.
The woman who was killed has been identified as Sugeyris Cepeda White. They say the man in the car was Eljuan D. White. He was taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital and officials have confirmed that he has died.
The two police officers involved were A.J. Thomas and T. Sherrod.

WILSON, N.C. - Questions still surround a deadly shootout that happened Monday morning.
Wilson Police say none of their officers were injured in the shootout. Neighbors say it all started right here at 606 Whitehead Avenue. Police were called in early Monday morning.
Neighbors heard screaming and gun shots from outside the apartment as a man was forcing a woman into his BMW.
Police intercepted the BMW at the intersection of Ward Boulevard and Forest Hill Road.
There the suspect opened gunfire on police.
All we know right now is one victim was killed and the other was immediately airlifted to Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Neighbors say they were shocked. The couple just moved into the apartment a few months ago.
"The man was chasing the lady. He actually had a gun chasing her," said Debbie Hayes, Neighbor
Law enforcement have yet to release the names of the people involved.
