A popular video rental chain is closing hundreds of its stores and some of them are right here in the east.
Movie Gallery Inc. has filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy for the second time in three years. As a result, it will close more than 700 of its 2,600 stores nationwide.
They include Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video, and Game Crazy stores.
Several of those stores are closing in the Raleigh area.
Here in the east, Hollywood Video will close in Goldsboro, Ayden, Greenville, and Williamston. Those stores will hold a going out of business sale.
