Officials with the city of Greenville say the 14th Street railroad crossing near Beatty Street between Dickinson Avenue and Evans Street will temporarily close to vehicular traffic.
The closure will take place beginning Monday, February 15th.
It's all to aid in the construction of the new rail connecting track.
City officials believe the work take around 30 days to complete.
They recommend using Dickinson Avenue, 10th Street, and Evans Street as a detour route for drivers. They'll still maintain access to local residences and businesses within the 14th Street area.
