Pulaski, TN (AP) - A Tennessee university student is happy to be alive Monday after being shot late Sunday night on the campus of Martin Methodist College. Police in Pulaski, Tennessee say the unidentified Giles County student is recovering after being shot around 10:15 PM CT in the parking lot of an on-campus apartment complex.

The normally quiet campus was placed on lockdown while police conducted a search for two suspects, as well as gathered evidence.

Police say a man and a woman, in a silver and gray four door sedan, are persons of interest for the shooting. The victim is recovering at a nearby hospital.
