A Beaufort County man is in trouble with the law accused of stealing a refrigerator and carpet.

A Beaufort County man is in trouble with the law accused of stealing a refrigerator and carpet.

55-year-old Matthew Lane was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after he turned himself in yesterday.

Deputies say he stole the fridge and carpet from a rental property back in December.

Investigators were able to recover the stolen refrigerator.
