A fire destroyed a trailer in Grifton early this morning.
The trailer is located on Fairway Drive near Pitt County Group Home.
Firefighters got the call about the fire at 7:44.
A dog was killed in the fire but no other injuries were reported.
Officials say that a woman and her three children lived in the home but they were not there when the fire started.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire and say that it does not appear to be suspicious.
