NBPD charge two for stealing from Salvation Army

Two people are facing charges after police say they caught them stealing from a charity.

Two people are facing charges after police say they caught them stealing from a charity.

New Bern Police arrested Thomas Seymour and Carolyn Doss.

They say the two stole donated items from a Salvation Army shed early Saturday morning.

Officers say they saw the couple loading the stolen items in a car.

They were both charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny, adding to previous fraud charges.

They were taken to the Craven County Jail.
