In Craven & Pamlico Counties, brine trucks are already out in full force hitting major bridges, US 70, 55, & 17, major secondary roads. They will be out all day & all night.
Meanwhile, in Carteret County brine trucks are only hitting major structures like bridges at this point. They will ramp up salting later on US 70 & 24.
Onslow County officials are all in an emergency planning meeting ahead of the approaching storm.
