A Camp Lejeune marine landed in jail after deputies say he led them on a high speed chase through Onslow County.
Deputies finally arrested Cpl. Timothy Beauchamp around 3:30 a.m. after trailing him on Highway 24 into Jacksonville.
Officers used stop sticks twice to get him out of his car.
They say Beauchamp avoided the first set, but the sticks got him later and took out one of his tires.
Investigators say he was driving at 130 miles an hour.
He was charged with felony speeding, reckless driving and injury to personal property.
