Two Camp Lejeune marines have been killed in the Helmand Province.
The Department of Defense says 30-year-old SSgt. Christopher Eckard of Hickory, North Carolina died Saturday.
Eckard was assigned to the 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, 2nd MEF.
25-year-old LCpl. Adam Peak of Florence, Kentucky died Sunday.
Peak was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd MEF.
