American Airlines is under scrutiny by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Three of the airline's flights had problems during landing between December 13 and Christmas Eve.
One of those happened at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
An airline spokesperson says the company is cooperating with the investigation.
The review will determine if any of those landings indicate a bigger issue.
