You don't have to look to far to find them.
And many of us...don't like them.
Thousands of Iguanas live in our neighborhoods and along our waterways.
But the cold temputures are more than they can handle.
Belinda Grimbeek found nearly half a dozen of what she thought where dead iguanas in her back yard.
Turns out....they weren't dead....just frozen.
The reptiles become immobilized when the temperature drops below 40 degrees.
Their bodies go into a deep sleep with only the heart continuing to function and very little blood flow.
So if you see an Iguana that looks dead...it might not be!
They will likely revive when the temperature rises.
