One business owner is giving back to his community by offering free firewood.
Smith and Sons Landscaping in Greensboro is using excess wood from when they clear trees to offer as free firewood.
Smith and Sons owner Keith Smith says he just wanted to give something back to people who need to warm their homes this winter.
"I love, I love helping the community out, and I look at it this way, its free, free heat, that’s what’s on my sign up there so anything I can give I’d be more than happy to give to them," Smith says.
People can pick up the wood at Smith and Sons Landscaping in Greensboro.
