It only takes a few minutes of your time, but giving blood can give someone else more time to live.
Students at ECU were giving at a blood drive at Wright Plaza today.
Students, staff and the public took time to help out.
They say it's something they can give, to help others.
One donor says it's the first time he's given blood on the bus.
"Its interesting because they can go anywhere and that's taking it to the people instead of people making those decisions and saying 'okay, do I make the time do to it, etc' so it's a pretty neat thing to do,” said Stephen Gray, ECU Director of Parent Services.
