Greenville Police need your help to locate the suspect in an attempted armed robbery.
It happened Tuesday night at the Taco Bell on South Memorial Drive.
Authorities say a white male believed to be in his 20's drove up to the drive-thru and pointed a silver handgun at the employee. Witnesses say he was wearing a gray turtle neck that he used to conceal his face and black jacket with a hood.
The suspect fled the drive-thru window when the employee vacated the immediate area. He's believed to be driving a mid 1990’s Tan or Champaign Chevrolet S10 extended cab pick-up truck with an unknown NC license plate. Witnesses say a Pitt Community College sticker was located on the driver’s side rear window. The vehicle was last seen traveling south on Reedy Branch Road toward Pitt Community College.
