A man wanted on sex charges involving a child is on the run tonight.

The Carteret County Sheriff's Office says Ismael Marquez committed a sex offense with a nine year old.

He's five-foot six and weighs around 145 pounds.

If you see him, call the Sheriff's Office at 252-504-4800.
