KENANSVILLE, N.C. - Willie Nelson was supposed to perform in Kenansville Thursday ngiht but he cancelled the show because of an illness.

His band mates got into some trouble in Kenansville, though. Agents with the state’s Alcohol Law Enforcement Division issued citations to three members of his band for having moonshine and small amounts of marijuana.

Nelson, who has had his own troubles with marijuana, was sick and was not there at the time. Nelson’s web site says he was too sick and in too much pain to play the guitar.

The show is being rescheduled.
