Lt. Governor Walter Dalton took his jobs commission to Rocky Mount Thursday as part of a larger tour to promote jobs in North Carolina.
The JOBS initiative, which stands for Joining Our Businesses and Schools, is concentrating on creating specific 5-year programs for high schools that are geared toward certain industries.
