GREENVILLE, N.C. - Social networking is soaring in popularity and hackers are hoping they can cash in when you log on.

Computer gurus are warning of malicious links posted on Facebook and MySpace.

They say people are posing as your friends, posting messages on your wall like "Wow, Look at this video".

When you click on the link, it opens your pc up to malware and can even secretly take over your computer.

Cyber experts say to stay away from generic messages and just delete them.
