GREENVILLE, N.C. – Diversity in schools will be the hot topic of discussion at a community event next Tuesday.
The Pitt County Coalition for Educating Black Children, UNC School of Law, and Kirwan Institute of Ohio State University are hosting the event from 6-9 p.m. It’ll take place at Cornerstone Baptist Church Family Life Center on Allen Road in Greenville.
On the agenda, diversity in schools and neighborhoods.
Participants will share opinions on education in Pitt County.
The Kirwan Institute and sponsors are providing historical and legal background information specific to Pitt County to frame the discussions.
