GRIFTON, N.C. - The investigation into a child drowning continues tonight in Pitt County.
Pitt County Sheriff Mac Manning tells Nine On Your Side, deputies and EMS responded to a home in Grifton yesterday morning in response to a 2 yr. old that wasn't breathing.
Authorities later determined the child had drowned. Sheriff Manning won't release anymore information on this case at this time.
