Palm Beach, Florida - Surf shop owner John Dickinson was diving with his friend, veterinarian Chip Garber off the coast of southern Florida last Saturday, February 27, when they came upon a shark laying dormant on the ocean floor. When they noticed that the shark had a large Frisbee-like ring around its neck which was preventing it from eating, Garber decided to try to dislodge the frisbee. Dickinson recorded Garber as he approached the shark from behind and successfully removed the frisbee ring. Your viewers will see the incredible rescue and hear first hand from John Dickinson and Chip Garber about their decision to try to save the shark even though they were risking injury to themselves.
