The Keith LeClair Classic is underway at East Carolina University. Keith LeClair was a popular ECU baseball coach, diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, in 2002. He died from the disease in 2006. Now, his inspirational story is in book form. Local author and sportswriter Bethany Bradsher penned the book “Coaching Third: The Keith LeClair Story” and it’s now out in stores. Sports Director Brian Bailey discussed the book and Coach LeClair’s legacy with Bradsher.
