GREENE COUNTY, N.C. - One area in the east is getting millions of dollars to put a railroad in.
Kinston's Global Transpark is getting 14.3 million dollars for 5.6 miles of railroad in Lenoir County.
Construction starts next month and will end sometime next year.
The announcement comes as the governor announces a total of 30 contracts being handed out in counties across the state.
Seven counties in the east are getting contracts, including Greene, Lenoir and Beaufort.
