The President is back on the road. This time he's taken his fight for healthcare reform to Saint Louis.
The White House wants to show it's serious about cutting healthcare costs. President Obama signed an order setting up a system of bounty hunters to fight fraud in Medicare and Medicaid. They'll use computers to track down bogus claims, and they'll get to "keep" some of the money they recover.
The president is doing everything he can to get healthcare reform passed. He wants the House to approve the Senate's version of his plan before he leaves for Asia next Thursday . "
But Republicans are united against the bill. And GOP leaders are warning nervous Democrats that "voting yes" could cost them come election time.
Experts say the debate has turned into a battle….that the President can't afford to lose.
Both sides are very aware of what's at stake and neither is willing to back down, so this fight could get a lot uglier before its over.
