GREENVILLE, N.C. - The internet's often a daily tool for sex offenders.
However, you might not be aware that one in 33 children have been solicited online by someone.
That's according to the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Greenville police tried to warn people about those dangers Wednesday night at J. H. Rose High School.
Children between the ages of 10 and 13 are targeted 22% of the time.
A big problem authorities say is that children often don't say anything about it to their parents.
Authorities say parents have to be diligent about keeping up with technology.
Currently, there are 645,000 registered sex offenders in the country. 10,000 are lost in the system.
