GREENVILLE, N.C. - It's a battle of the brains and the books for middle schoolers in the east.
It's all part of the 20th annual Battle of the Books in Pitt County.
Students from 12 schools competed in the game-like format, answering questions about books they read during the school year.
There are several rounds of questions with two schools facing off for points.
Kids and teachers say it's a great way to make reading fun.
