BEAUFORT COUNTY -- A Beaufort County man is now charged with animal cruelty.
Ashley Daniels was charged with six counts of animal cruelty after Beaufort County deputies seized several horses and dogs from three properties in Aurora on Monday.
They went to look for animals there and check on their living conditions.
16 horses and 16 dogs were seized and one horse needed to be euthanized.
Officials say the investigation is on-going.
