GREENVILLE, N.C. - Crews are busy cleaning up an overnight chemical spill, but officials say there is no reason for concern.

The Norfolk Southern Train which was coming from Chocowinity was delivering sodium hydroxide and was stopped on Highway 17 near the split with Highway 43.

It was headed to the Weyerhauser plant in Craven County.

Craven County Emergency Management Director Stanley Kite tells Nine On Your Side their were no evaculations.

And hazmat crews were not called to the leak.
