A Camp Lejeune Marine could face charges for sending troopers on a high speed chase.

Troopers spotted Joseph Pinckett Jr. speeding on I-95 in Halifax County this afternoon.

They say he led troopers on a chase across state lines into Virginia before he lost control and crashed.

Pinckett tried to get away on foot but they quickly caught him.

Charges are pending.
