The Carteret County Sheriffs Department tells Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a Newport woman for having sexual relations with a 15 year old boy.
It happened Tuesday morning.
28 year old Cathy Ann Garner is charged with Statutory Rape of a 15 year old.
Her arrest stemps from a report the boy's mother made after suspecting Garner of having a relationship with her son.
Garner is in the Carteret County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
No further information will be released due to the age of the victim.
