Some Marines in the east are tackling new techniques to help in combat.

Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary unit at Camp Lejeune are taking part in special helicopter suspension techniques training.

They're learning how to get into and out of areas that aren't suitable for landing, using fast ropes and rappelling.

The methods can be used from MV 22 Ospreys, tilt-rotor aircraft and other helicopters.
